The Lab s an experiment in New American Capitalism.
It’s an experiment that each of our staff are a part of.
The results of that experiment will tell us wether or not we can run a company the way we do now.

Where we give our staff $20-40k in bonuses every month.
Where our staff enjoys 3 to 6 weeks of paid vacation.
Where all of our veteran staff take home $100,000 or more, regardless of position.
Where our staff has free healthcare for them and their families.
Where, years from now, we provide in-house child care, counseling, paternity leave, and employee ownership programs.

We have a chance to be an example for how companies treat their employees.
We have a chance to prove that you get more out of people by building a life with them, than by exploiting their need for a livelihood.
We have a chance to show people that a rag-tag team of misfits, from a bumf*** town in northern Michigan, 

founded by a couple of middle class kids, can build a Nationally relevant brand, and do it the right way.

And we have a chance to do this in the most regulated, most taxed, most competitive market in the world.
And if we are able to achieve it in the cannabis industry, we will have the power to shape it for good.
We will be able to keep it out of big tobacco and big alcohol’s hands.
We will be able to keep the profits with the people who actually risked it all to build this industry.
We will be able to build something from the ground up that we all can call our own.

That is our purpose.
